Portrait Photography Worksop in Nature

  • Eleven Monkeys Oranjekanaal N.Z. Orvelte Netherlands (map)

Discover that portrait photography is far more then just posing for a few photos!

In this workshop you will be challenged both technically and creatively but more importantly, we will focus on how to make people feel at ease and create a safe environment for them to be vulnerable in front of the camera. Capturing raw emotions requires trust and a relaxed atmosphere. As a photographer, it's your responsibility to create that safe space, where both you and the model can feel comfortable. We will guide you on how to establish this foundation of trust and relaxation, ensuring that each photoshoot becomes a collaborative experience. Portrait photography can be challenging and confrontational and is often a vulnerable moment for the person posing in front of the camera. Today we are going to learn how to create a save environment where people can be themselves. We will cover different poses that don't look posed and I'll teach you about lighting.

It is not necessary to bring a camera for this workshop. If you have it, take it! And otherwise there will be a camera availible.
